A Night with Andre Power in Vegas
First time in a while since I was flown out some where to do something I’ve love doing. Even though we’re still in a pandemic, events, concerts and festivals are slowly coming its way. Was invited to Area 15 to shoot for Andre Power and take some portraits in places I didn’t even know it existed. Drinks here and there while walking around Vegas exploring.
Andre put me on a new artist named James Turrell. Short story, James Turrell is a American Artist and is known for his light and space movement. There was one placed inside a Vegas mall (I forgot the name of the place). I was taken there was in awe. Loved the colors emitting and depth of field that I couldn’t help to take some portraits of Andre. Now I need to look for more James Turrell installations .
The next day, we woke up late to our flight. Andre had TSA Precheck and CLEAR while I didn’t had to go through the regular process. Unfortunately, I didn’t make my flight and had to catch the next one that was in two hours. But still made it to LA to cover LINK UP event at the Resident. You can check out the recap here: LINK
